The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today

Outside my window... Is a dreary, drippy, rainy, day. If it wasn't so cold, I'd be out in it!

I am thinking... Of the many lost souls, who have no hope and no life. Who don't know who Jesus is. I am thinking of the Persecuted Christians who are willing to die for their strong faith in Him. Who are willing to tell their persecutors of the One who died for them. 

I am thankful for... My family. My wonderful parents and brother.

From the kitchen... There's not much going one. Mom and I just finished the dishes.

I am creating... A scarf for my cousin Haydon. It's almost done!

I am going... Nowhere today. 

I am reading... I just finished reading A Tale of Two Cities. It's become my no. 1 favorite Dickens book.

I am hoping... Spring will hurry up and get here! Can't wait to start our garden!

I am hearing... Rain pouring from a blackened sky.

Around the house... It's peacefully quiet. Adrian is taking a nap!

Picture for thought... An email-pal of mine sent it to me. Yum. Makes me want to eat some chocolate covered strawberries!
